Instructions
Dough Prep Store-Bought
Warm it up: If using store-bought dough, let it come to room temperature, about 20-30 minutes before you plan to use it.
Dough Prep From Scratch
Prepare the Dough: Activate your yeast in a bowl of warm water and sugar. Give it about 10 minutes to froth up nicely. Meanwhile, combine your flour and salt in a large bowl.
Mix: Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour. Stir until combined, then knead. You can use your hands or a dough hook on a stand mixer on low setting for this part. Knead until it becomes a smooth, elastic dough ball.
Knead: Once the dough comes together, increase the mixer speed to medium and mix until the dough is smooth and elastic, around 7-10 minutes.
Rise: Place your beautiful dough ball in a greased bowl. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
Assembly and Baking
Preheat Oven and Prep Tray: Preheat your oven to 375 °F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare Garlic Butter: Melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave. Stir in the garlic salt and garlic powder.
Roll it Out: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to a thickness of about ½ inch.
Cut Dough into Pieces: Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to cut the dough into bite-sized pieces.
Brush the Dough Bites: Lay out your dough bites on the prepared tray, leaving space between each. Generously brush each piece with the melted butter mixture.
Add the Cheese: Generously sprinkle parmesan cheese over your prepped dough bites. The more, the cheesier!
Bake: Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown.

Notes
Always check the temperature of your water before adding the yeast. Too hot and it can kill the yeast, too cool and it may not activate.
If you're new to working with yeast, let it sit until it gets frothy. This will tell you it's alive and ready to work its magic!
Kneading the dough is crucial to develop gluten, which gives the bread bites their signature chewy texture. If kneading by hand, it might take a little longer than with a mixer.
The butter mixture should be liberally applied to ensure each bite is bursting with flavor.
Baking times can vary depending on your oven, so keep an eye on the bites. They're ready when they're golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly crispy.
These parmesan bread bites are best served warm, with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy them on game nights, at parties, or just because you deserve a treat!
These bites are freezable. Freeze them on a baking sheet until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag. When ready to serve, bake from frozen until warmed through.
Get creative with toppings! Try adding mozzarella cheese, red pepper flakes, or fresh herbs for an extra flavor boost.
